Full Depth Reclamation
In-place Recycling is technology that consists of Cold Planing, Cold-In-Place Recycling, Cold Central Plant Recycling, Full Depth Reclamation, and Hot-In-Place Recycling.
As an In-place Recycling Consultant, I support the efforts of the Asphalt Recycling Reclamation Association (ARRA) whose primary function has been to promote the recycling of existing roadway materials through various construction methodologies, to preserve limited natural resources and reduce costs.
BARM Asphalt Recycling Manual
I have supported the ARRA activities and committees including the complete rewrite of the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual (BARM) with ARRA members that replaced the original BARM developed over a decade ago. ARRA also has developed guide specifications and I have co-sponsored national conferences as well as developing field construction guides with ARRA.
I have reviewed and updated multiple state specifications and made presentations at ARRA functions across the country. I provided national support for ARRA within their technical committees. I co-hosted a National and International Conference in Denver, Colorado where I was able to bring in multiple representatives from 18 states to discuss issues regarding multiple In-Place Recycling technologies.

As your In-place Recycling Consultant, I will provide Overall Program Coordination as well as Technical and Practical Implementation support for In-Place Recycling Technologies that includes CIR, CCPR, HIR, and FDR applications as well as Field Evaluations, Project and Specifications Development for construction options using In-Place recycling in projects and/or prior to or during construction operations.
